About the project

This film, created through the partnership between the agencies Bullet and Mutato, with production and post-production by Sailor Studio for Ipiranga—one of Brazil’s largest gas station networks—aimed to announce the brand’s special space and influencer team at Rock in Rio 2024. The campaign also highlighted the iconic mascot of Ipiranga: the beloved "cachorro caramelo."

As another Fake Out of Home (FOOH) production, Sailor Studio brought to life giant balloons attached to the ceiling of an Ipiranga gas station, inspired by the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The film begins with the perspective of a pedestrian walking down the street, suddenly noticing a giant balloon flying through the air. They start recording as the balloon bumps into others, leading to a zoom-out shot that reveals the full scene: an advertisement showcasing the influencer team set to participate in the event.

For this project, I was responsible for animating and simulating the balloons, from their initial position on the gas station roof to their dramatic release and flight through the scene.
