About the project

I was invited by China in Box to produce a video announcing the brand's new line of collectible bowls. The concept was to create a Fake Out of Home (FOOH) showcasing the new bowls and their exclusive illustrations in an iconic location in São Paulo.

The chosen location for the shoot was "Minhocão", a busy elevated avenue during the day that transforms into an open park on weekends. This unique space provided the perfect setting to create, in CGI, a 4-meter-high bowl walking through the city.

I was responsible for the entire production pipeline, from the technical visit to the filming location, bowl modeling, texturing, lookdev, to the final composition. The biggest challenge was removing pedestrians from the scene, as we filmed around noon when the park was crowded. The need for a clean shoot without interruptions in the scene was one of the biggest hurdles to ensuring the animation's realism.
