About the project

The campaign developed by Africa Creative and produced by Sailor Studio for Petrobras Gas Stations brought the mascots Lu and Brás to a new phase: now, they come to life as collectible plush toys.

One of the highlights of the campaign was the film showcasing a "plush rain" in an iconic location in Curitiba, creatively and emotionally connecting the characters with the audience. The initiative celebrates the charisma and Brazilian spirit of the duo, now available for customers as a special keepsake. "Our mission is to keep bringing Lu and Brás to life, these adorable and charismatic characters who not only embody the spirit of Petrobras Gas Stations but also the essence of Brazilian culture with their vibrant colors and energy. Now, in their plush versions, customers can take this duo home, which we believe will be a huge success, capitalizing on the resurgence of the popular claw machines," commented Renato Broggin, co-COO of Africa Creative.

In this project, I was part of Sailor Studio’s post-production team, contributing to the simulation of the plush rain scene. Over 2,600 plush models were created, totaling more than 8 million polygons, ensuring realism and visual impact for the sequence.
